ProKit Studios ("ProKit Studios," "we," "us," or "our") operates prokitstudios.com and sells digital, editable document kits for solo professionals. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or buying our products, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you buy a kit, join our waitlist, or email us, we may collect your name, email address, and the details of your order or message. If you purchase through a storefront such as our website checkout, Gumroad, Etsy, or Payhip, that platform collects your order and billing details and shares order information with us so we can fulfill and support your purchase.

Payment information. We do not collect or store your full payment card number. Payments are processed by our storefront and payment providers (for example Gumroad, Etsy, Payhip, and their payment processors), who handle your card details under their own privacy policies.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics provider collect standard technical data such as your device type, browser, pages viewed, and referring links, using cookies and similar technologies. We use Google Analytics for this.

How we use your information

  • To deliver the products you buy and provide customer support.
  • To respond to your messages and waitlist sign-ups.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and products.
  • To send you information you asked for, such as a waitlist notification. You can opt out at any time.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the business — storefronts, payment processors, email, file hosting, and analytics — and only as needed to provide their service.
  • Legal authorities when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
  • A successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. Our analytics provider (Google Analytics) sets cookies that help us measure traffic and improve the site. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work as well if you disable them.

Data retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to fulfill your order, provide support, and meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you messages. Email us at [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those rights where they apply.

Children

Our website and products are intended for adults running or starting a business. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Third-party sites and platforms

Our site links to third-party platforms (such as Gumroad, Etsy, and social media, including TikTok). Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to read them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
